A loan of $2,800 helped a member to buy beer, wine, liquor, sodas and other drinks.

Mujeres Luchadoras Group's story

The communal bank is called “Mujeres Luchadoras” (“Fighting Women”) since all are fighting for the progress of each other and for the group as a whole. The group came together with the hope of being able to help their families and children. Currently they are in their fourth loan cycle and they are very pleased.

Irma is one of the members of the group. She tells us that she sells drinks of all kinds and that, thanks to this work, she has been able to help her family and provide it with all that is necessary to move ahead.

She is requesting a loan to buy beer, wine, liquor, sodas and other drinks in order to supply her store and to offer her customers a greater variety of products.
