A loan of $1,825 helped a member to buy bleach, soap powders, bars, and liquids, softeners and other supplies.

Virgen De Guadalupe Group's story

The communal bank 'Virgen de Guadalupe' was formed by several neighbours from the city of Santaní. The members form a very united group who are capable of working together to achieve a better future for their families.

Maria is a woman who works hard every day in laundry. She mentions that it is a very selfless job; it requires a lot of hard work. Despite this she is proud of what she does as it is a decent job and above all, honest.

She is requesting a loan to buy bleach, soap powders, bars, and liquids, softeners and other supplies which are necessary to be able to continue with her work. She is grateful to the Fundación for the opportunity of being part of this program.
