A loan of $1,925 helped a member to buy plants and fertilizer to sell.

Santa Rosa Group's story

The communal bank Santa Rosa was formed by the union of 13 neighbors in the city of Mariano Roque Alonso. They are very hardworking and striving women who see a great help in the foundation's program. The members formed a group that is very united and capable of achieving together, which helps them to strengthen their comradeship.

Señora Agustina is one of the members of the group. She sells plants of all types and also fertilizer. She no longer has young children, and her husband does construction work. She comments that she sacrifices a lot to be able to help her husband with the household expenses and in this way to be able to make everything easier. Her goal is to be able to have a large nursery for plants, where she will have a great variety to offer to her customers. She is applying for a loan for the purchase of plants and also fertilizer so that she can be well stocked and in this way ready for the orders of her customers.
