A loan of $1,450 helped a member to purchase beer, wine, soda, and other kinds of drinks to sell.

Mujeres De Cerro Real Group's story

The women belonging to this communal bank are from Cerro Real in the city of Caacupé. The ladies are very satisfied with the support they have received from the Fundación Paraguaya and Kiva. There are 12 members and they are currently in the first cycle. Juana is a hard worker and tells us that by selling drinks, she has managed to provide for her family and give them what they need for a life that is free from want and need. She defines herself as a very self-sacrificing and enterprising woman. Juana has applied for this loan to purchase beer, wine, soda, and other kinds of drinks, as she receives many orders and she doesn't want to run out of stock.
