A loan of $1,450 helped a member to buy second-hand clothing for resale.

Mujeres Trabajadoras Group's story

Mujeres Trabajadoras is the name of the excellent group of women formed in the city of Itá. It is made up of 12 women who currently are working together very comfortably and supportively in their first loan cycle.

Catalina is one of the members of the group. She tells us that she works selling used clothing. She says it is a good business because used clothing is an alternative for people of fewer resources. Her goal is to be able to have a big store where she will be able to offer more clothes to her customers.

She is requesting the loan to buy second-hand clothing with which she will be able to stock up, to offer to her customers.
