La Esperanza Group's story

Description: The “La Esperanza” (Hope) committee is from the city of Concepción; it has ten members most of which are small business owners. All have the hope of continuing to get ahead seeking progress for each one of them and for the community. This is why the committee carries that name.

Martina sells clothes and comments that she has a well-defined clientele because she always brings very good products to sell added to the good prices she has. She relates that through this business she has the means necessary to support her family and cover daily household expenses.

She asks for the loan to buy summer clothes to stock up on and have more variety to offer her customers while at the same time filling their orders.
