Sophea's story

Sophea, 31, is married and resides with her husband and two school-age children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.

She and her husband have been raising fish to sell for over ten years and are successful in their careers. Additionally, she runs a grocery store at home to generate more income for the family.

In order to improve her family living conditions, Sophea is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase more groceries to sell to generate extra income. In the future, she would like to expand her business and support her children to study until they get bachelor's degrees.
