Maria's story

María is 43 years old. She is kind, good, and hard-working. She lives with her partner José and is the mother of four children; Rodrigo (12), Marco (9), Ray (5), and 2 year old Mayumi who is the youngest. She works a great deal in order to provide her family with a better quality of life. She works in food sales. Everyday, very early in the morning, she goes to the district market and there she begins preparing the delicious dishes that only she knows how to make with her secret ingredients. Her food stall is located in the market. Everyday, many people go there looking for good seasoning, good service, and above all, cleanliness. She has been in this business for a year and enjoys it because it allows her to have and do many things in her daily life. In addition, the business generates good income and thus provides home improvements. Now she is in a stage of growth. When she started the business, it was very complicated because didn’t know much about how to manage this business. She hopes to have a restaurant in the future and to continue growing her business. This will be her third loan with MFP, so she expects a small loan in order to meet her goals. In addition, once more, she promises to be punctual with her payments. With the requested 1500 nuevos soles, she will purchase ingredients, supplies, and some materials that she needs to continue running her business successfully.
