A loan of $750 helped to purchase ingredients to make food.

Evodia's story

Evodia is 40 years old and a single mother of three children. She says that she used to be very afraid because she didn't know how to help her children have a better life and value what she did so that they would have the best.

She works selling Mexican dishes such as entomatadas (tortillas with a tomato sauce), sopes (fried tortilla with beans, onion, and hot sauce), huraches (tortilla and bean based dish in the shape of a sandal), chicken empanadas, and quesillo cheese and chorizo sausage with handmade tortillas and salsa.

She also works selling bottles of water at wholesale and retail.

She is asking for this loan to purchase ingredients such as green chiles, quesillo cheese, chorizo sausage, chicken, cheese, onions, garlic, mayonnaise, vegetables, and corn to make tortillas.

She is grateful to the Foundation for helping her triumph in life.
