A loan of $3,525 helped a member purchase summer clothing to sell.

Santo Tomás Group's story

The committee is called Santo Tomás due to the fact that the member’s chapel in the neighborhood is also called Santo Tomás. They have taken on the commitment of maintaining a united group and working with respect and responsibility. Currently, the members are in their sixth cycle with excellent qualifications. The group is composed of 15 women who want to invest their loans in the respective activities.
Ignacia is one of these hard-working women. She sells all types of garments. She tells us that thanks to these sales, she can help with the day-to-day expenses of her household. She is a fighter and a very hardworking, enthusiastic person who does not fear challenges. She has a goal of being able to open a large business where she can sell her garments.
She is requesting help from Kiva and the Fundación Paraguaya to purchase summer clothing, so she can stock up and have more of a variety to offer to her customers.
