A loan of $300 helped to purchase cosmetics and supplies for making bracelets and necklaces.

Liz's story

Liz, 24, is a young, entrepreneurial college student. She is single and lives with her two siblings, her mother and her grandmother. They all live comfortably in her grandmother's house.
Liz sells catalogue beauty products and cosmetics to her friends and neighbors. She has been in this business for two years and she also makes necklaces and bracelets, an activity she learned at a vocational center. She likes what she does because she generates some income to help pay for her studies and studying materials, and also because it allows her to manage her time. She now wants to expand her business selling shoes. This would be her second loan with MFP and she counts on our cooperation to achieve her goals. She is asking for 800 nuevos soles which will be invested in the purchase of beauty products, beads and other jewelry supplies.
