Nuevo Amanecer Group's story

The Nuevo Amanecer [New Dawn] group is from the city of Carapeguá. Currently, the group is in its twelfth loan cycle, with nineteen members. The women, who desire to improve their lives, are very active, not to mention very hard-working, and prepared to overcome any obstacles.
Carmen is one of them. Every day she works selling chipas (traditional Paraguayan food [bread made from cassava dough]) on the streets in the mornings and afternoons. She says that her work requires sacrifice, but in spite of it, she would like to continue with it.
She is requesting the loan to purchase the ingredients necessary to make the chipas she sells, such as cassava dough, butter, condiments, etc.
