A loan of $800 helped to purchase sodas, juices, gatorade, cookies, snacks, sweets, and fruit.

Delfina Margoth's story

Delfina is 34 years old and lives with her four daughters, who are in school and depend on her. The house where they reside is hers. Delfina works milling hominy; moreover, she also has a cafeteria in her town's school. She works at this business during the school year, offering the students meals and fast food. She uses the mill more than anything during school breaks and on those days when she doesn't go to sell (in her cafeteria).

Currently, she is requesting a loan in order to purchase sodas, juices, gatorade, cookies, snacks, sweets, and fresh fruits; all to re-open the cafeteria, since classes will start soon.

Delfina's goal is to work for her daughters, so they can feel supported. She also wants to make improvements on her home since it is made of adobe and in time, she wishes to strengthen it with concrete.
