Va, 59, is widowed and resides with her son in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She has been growing rice for over 20 years and is successful in her career. Additionally, she is a tailor.
Her son is a tuk tuk (motorcycle-based taxi) driver. Because the old tuk tuk breaks down often, Va is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase a new tuk tuk for her son to run as taxi in order to attract more customers and earn more money to support the family.
In the future, she would like to expand her agricultural business and renew her house.
