Mao, 53, is married and resides with her husband and six children in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
She and her husband have been involved in agricultural business for over 15 years. They have extensive experience and are successful in their careers. They are involved in growing rice and fattening up animals. Additionally, her husband is a fisherman and a motor taxi driver.
Two of her children are employed at the garment factory.
In order to improve her family livelihood, Mao is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to purchase a motorbike for her son to run as motor taxi to generate more income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to grow rice in the dry season, build a new house and support her children to study at a higher educational level.
