Kong, 62, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She and her husband have been running a grocery store for over ten years and are successful in their career. Three of her children are employed at a factory in Phnom Penh. Selling groceries is the main source of income for the family. In order to improve her family economy, Kong is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to purchase more groceries to sell to generate more income to support the family. In the future, she would like to build a new house and support her children to study higher.
