A loan of $650 helped to buy bundles of used clothes to stock his business.

Osman Rodolfo's story

Osman Rodolfo, age 29, has been married for two years and has a one year old son. He lives in the Llanos de La Virgen neighborhood of Intibucá, Intibucá.

Osman previously worked in a TIGO store, but his income was very low. He decided it would be better to establish his own business selling second-hand American cloths. He started four years ago, and he currently has two business locations. His wife helps him tend to them. He takes care of customers from eight in the morning until five thirty in the afternoon.

His business is profitable in the zone because new clothes are very expensive. People prefer used clothes because they are cheaper. He buys the bundles and sorts them. His family sold this product, and he saw that it was profitable. He decided to have his own business in order to grow financially.

He will use the requested loan to buy bundles of clothes to stock up on and to increase his sales. He will save his earnings in order to build his house.
