A loan of $375 helped to buy seasonal clothes.

Endrina Solanye's story

Solanye, 20, is a very charismatic and above all hardworking young woman. She’s the mother of a beautiful little one-year-old who she raises and cares for alone because of circumstances beyond her control. She works very hard day by day to support her little one and to give him what he needs. In the little free time she has she tries to give her baby much love and she relaxes with him listening to music especially relaxing music so that her baby can relax alongside her. Solanye only finished fifth year of secondary school because her parents lacked the necessary economic means but she would have liked to study Accounting.

Solanye works selling clothes. She works 8 hours daily and tends to many customers. On those occasions when no one is available to care for her baby while she works, she takes him with her wherever she goes. She believes that she does well in her business because she has more motivation than anyone else: her son for whom she’d give her life. This is why she sacrifices so much to get ahead so that he will lack nothing.

Solanye is very happy and grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to their support she will be able to buy much merchandise (clothes) for the summer season with which she’ll improve her income to continue saving toward her great dream: “To give her little one a profession.”
