Souleymane was born in November 1964 in Doumanani, a prefecture of Sikasso. He is a polygamist, and he has two wives and eleven children. His family lives in Hamdallaye, a working-class neighborhood in the city of Sikasso.

About two years ago, after having pursued several business activities unsuccessfully, Souleymane began buying and selling firewood. He buys the firewood in Denderso and its surrounding areas. He is in very high demand thanks to the quality of his product.

To satisfy his ever-growing customer base, he decided to join the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso. This is his second individual loan through Soro Yiriwaso. His first loan was repaid properly.

With this second loan, he plans to buy five truckloads (10 tonnes) of firewood.

With this loan, he plans to achieve monthly profits of 175,000 FCFA, which will mainly the used to cover family expenses and pay the interest of his loan. The rest will be reinvested in his business.

Né en Novembre 1964 à Doumanani préfecture de Sikasso, Souleymane est polygame avec 2 femmes et père 11 enfants résidant à Hamdallaye, un des quartiers populaires de la ville de Sikasso.
Monsieur Souleymane après avoir mené plusieurs activités sans succès, s’est initié il y a environ deux années au domaine du commerce notamment à la vente du bois de chauffe dans lequel il s'approvisionne à Denderso et environnants. Il est beaucoup sollicité de sa clientèle pour la qualité de ses produits.
Pour satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus croissante, il décida de rejoindre l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui il est à son deuxième prêt individuel; le prêt précédent a été correctement remboursé.
Avec ce deuxième prêt, il compte acheter 5 chargements de camion “10 tonnes” en bois de chauffe.
Il envisage réaliser avec ce prêt un bénéfice mensuel de 175 000 FCFA qui sera utilisé essentiellement pour contribuer aux dépenses familiales, payer les intérêts de son prêt et investir le reste dans son activité.
