A loan of $2,400 helped to pay for renovating parts of his store.

Ibrahim's story

Ibrahim is a 44-year-old married Iraqi man with three children.

In the past, he has worked on construction sites, installing ceiling panels. While the business was good enough to be able to apply and successfully receive and repay a small business loan from Relief International Iraq, he decided 2 years ago to run a small neighborhood market - a typical store where Iraqi families do their shopping.

The business has been doing well, and Ibrahim now took a loan from RI-Iraq in the amount of 2,400 USD to renovate certain parts of the store that he is unable to use now.
