A loan of $1,200 helped to renovate the interior of his bakery.

Rebaz's story

Rebaz is a 23-year-old Iraqi man with a bakery. His bakery has been generating income for him for the past five years, allowing him to contribute to the living expenses of his family. Although he is single and living in a multi-generation household, he plays an active role in supporting the household.

In the past Rebaz took a loan from Relief International - Iraq, which allowed him to buy a large mixer machine for making the bread dough. After successfully repaying the first loan, Rebaz took a loan of 1,200 USD, which he would like to use to renovate the interior of the bakery. He plans to remove the smoky built-up residue from the walls and make the area cleaner and brighter.

Rebaz is under 30, qualifying for a youth loan.
