A loan of $3,000 helped to re-stock his store and start running his business.

Nasih's story

Nasih is a married Iraqi man who is the father of four children. In an effort to better provide for his family's needs, he started running a small store in 2008. Nasih first took a loan from Relief International-Iraq to renew the store. After successfully implementing the improvements as well as repaying the loan, he applied and took out a new loan from RI-Iraq in the amount of 3,000 USD to re-stock his now-empty store.

The little store, located in a good business area, will surely be a successful place, attracting local customers from the area. Nasih hopes to provide his customers with a great service, which will allow him to better provide for his children's needs.
