Sreymon, 28, is a married mother of a daughter and son who are still too young to attend school. Residing in a rural area of the Ponhea Krek district of Cambodia where crop farming is a common source of family income, Sreymom and her husband plant cassava as their main business and sometimes work for others in the village. They earn about US$15 per day and are able to save about US$10 each day.

Sreymon received a loan from VisionFund three years ago, since repaid, which improved her living conditions. Now requesting another loan, she will use it to buy fertilizer for her farmland and pay for the labor involved in planting cassava. She hopes this loan will enable her to increase their cassava yield, send the children to school, and improve their lifestyle.
