A loan of $400 helped to buy paint, canvas, cloth and other supplies.

Nelson's story

Nelson, 40, is from Coronel Oviedo, has been married to Maria for 12 years and they have 2 children: Laura, 9 and Rodrigo, 7.
Nelson is a printer and he tells us that his business is located in his mother’s house on the main street of the city. He began his career when he was very young. First he worked as an employee until he decided to open his own print and design shop. He tells us that at the beginning it was difficult because of the lack of capital and having to develop his own customer base. But with time he became known for his work that was appreciated and accepted and his business was growing. These days he is a big micro entrepreneur and Nelson tell us that all of his work is for his children because he wants them to be professionals in the future and to have good jobs and not to have to worry.
He is requesting the loan to buy paints, canvas, cloth and other supplies needed to make posters. He appreciates the help he is being given from the Foundation and from Kiva.
