George's story

George is 46 years old. He lives in the village Kindzati, East Georgia. He is married and lives with his family: his wife Fatman, and two sons who are 23 and 20 years old. George earns a living through agriculture and has a small dairy farm with a milk cow and a calf. The family sells cheese and they own 1.5 hectares of land where they grow haricot, maize, and beets. George's younger son is a car mechanic and works in the village. The family's total average monthly income is 800 GEL.

George is requesting a loan to purchase and raise six calves. Beginning next year his family will be able to sell 600% more cheese which will significantly increase their income. George will use the profit from his loan to improve his family's living conditions.
