A loan of $1,175 helped to purchase traditional clothing to sell.

Flor Imelda's story

Imelda is married and has a son. She owns a clothing store and also has a taxi service. Every morning she embroiders traditional blouses to sell, and in the afternoon she tends to her store. Her husband is in charge of the taxi. The two businesses have been very lucrative and they have thrived. Imelda wants to stock up on traditional clothing, including sashes and sandals. She needs the loan to realize her dream, and she promises to make her payments as she has done in the past. She feels very grateful to Kiva and partner FAPE for the help they are providing.
