Aydee's story

Haydee, 28, is an unassuming, very hardworking woman who is married to Edison, 30; they have three school age children and they live together in their own house where harmony reigns.

Haydee has been working hard for 13 years selling groceries. She used her accumulated savings to open a store where she sells a variety of basic staple items. Her business generates good economic profits and every day she opens up expecting her first buyers.

She mentions that the key to capturing customers is to tend to them kindly and support their purchases. What she most likes about her work is to satisfy her customers. She’s been in business six years and considers the most difficult part of it to have to remain standing all day. She does well in her business because thanks to it she was able to buy more farmland for her husband to work. In time she hopes to be able to enlarger her house as well as her store.

This is MFP loan #6 and she is very happy to know that she can once again count on support from lenders to continue growing. She is a very participative, punctual member of her communal bank’s meetings. She will use the 3000 new soles to buy merchandise like sacks of rice, sugar, oil, detergent, etc.
