A loan of $1,775 helped a member buy silk threads for embroidery.

San Antonio Group's story

Crecencia Margarita is married, 39 years old, and completed 3 years of elementary school. She has 3 children, 1 of whom is in school. She dedicates herself to handicrafts, making embroidered blouses. She started her business sewing blouses and now has 6 years of experience with the embroidery. She counts on the support of her husband, who is a construction worker.

She organized a group to be able to request a loan to buy raw materials such as silk thread, different types of fabric, and to improve her production of embroidered blouses. She hopes to expand her business and wants a large enterprise in the future. The other members of the group dedicate themselves, in general, to raising farm animals, clothing production, embroidery and shop keeping.

In this group: Crecencia Margarita, Sebastiana, Maria, Santa, Micaela, Magdalena, Magdalena
