A loan of $1,650 helped a member to buy liquid soap, coloring, scents, fragrances and other supplies to make detergents.

Kuña Tyrey Group's story

The committee called “Kuña Tyre” is from the city of Carapeguá and is currently in its 2nd cycle with 12 members. The women are hard workers who strive to get ahead and invest the loan in their respective activities to make their capital productive. The committee is formed by very self-sacrificing women who struggle daily to cover their families’ daily expenses.

Cecilia makes and sells all kinds of detergents. She comments that she’s a very creative and hardworking person who thanks to her efforts has been able to get ahead and help her family. Her goal is to open a store where she can sell her wares to her customers more comfortably.

She is asking for the loan to buy the chemicals she uses to make the detergents such as: liquid soap, fragrances, coloring and other supplies. They are grateful for the great opportunity Kiva and the Fundación gives them.
