Alejandrina's story

The “Andres Avelino Caceres” communal bank is composed of responsible, hard-working people who are advancing their families. The majority of its members live in the city of Cusco where they also conduct their economic activities. Cusco is known for being a popular tourist and commercial zone, famous for its traditional “Inti Raymi” festival, and because nearby you'll find one of the 7 marvels of the world, “Machupicchu.”

Alejandrina is 53 years old and a widow, but she has 7 children. She was born in the district, province, and department of Cusco where she still lives. Alejandrina's principal economic activity is selling sweets at the door of a school in the city of Cusco, or on foot in the streets. In addition, Alejandrina sells products of primary necessity in her own little grocery store. She has been in this business for 4 years and it is going well for her.

On this occasion, Alejandrina needs a loan to pay for maintenance of her car.
