Santo Domingo Group's story

The communal bank "Santo Domingo" came about through the management and support of a group of women who were working in this location. The group is from the San Lorenzo area, and its members established as its main objective the personal and economic growth of each member.

Mrs. Mirta is one of the group members and she has been selling clothing for several years. Through her work she has grown as a micro-businesswoman and has helped her family. Her dream is to have her own shop where she can display the garments she sells.

The loan she is requesting from the foundation and Kiva is to buy t-shirts, shirts, jeans and other clothing items.
