A loan of $4,850 helped a member to buy shampoo, rinses, cream rinses, dyes, and other supplies.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

This communal bank was formed in one of the neighborhoods of the city of Caaguazú. They are 22 women who got together to form a solidarity group. They are very hard-working and responsible women, who have a spirit of enterprise and helping one another. Currently, they are in their 10th loan cycle, getting stronger day by day, in order to reach their goals and fulfill their dreams and objectives.

Gloria is a very hard-working woman, and has a small hair salon, where she works every day. She says that she always has a lot of customers, which helps her greatly, because thanks to this she has the means necessary to be able to support her family.

She is applying for the Foundation's help to buy supplies for her hair salon, such as shampoo, rinses, cream rinses, dyes, and other supplies. She is thankful for this opportunity for progress that she is receiving from Fundacion Paraguaya and Kiva.
