A loan of $3,200 helped a member buy flour, grated coconut, sugar, butter and other ingredients.

Medalla Milagroda Group's story

This group is from the city of Encarnación. It came about because of one of the member’s contact with the foundation and now they are in their 5th loan cycle. They have worked with the foundation since last year. One of the members of the group is Ignacia, who works selling crafts, and also making and selling confectionery. She says she is doing very well, since her products sell rapidly because they are well made. Ignacia says that thanks to her sales, she has been able to move forward with her family and in this way improve her quality of life. She requests the loan to buy flour, grated coconut, sugar, butter, and other ingredients necessary for her pastries. She is grateful to the foundation and Kiva for the opportunity they are giving her.
