A loan helped a member to buy cosmetics for later sale.

Virgen De Fatima Group's story

21 women in the city of Itá have joined together with the aim of helping one another by working jointly. They see a great opportunity for progress in Fundación Paraguaya's program for women entrepreneurs. This is why they decided to form the group that they called "Vírgen de Fatima," which is currently in its ninth loan cycle under the program.

Concepción is one of the members of the group. She tells us that she has worked since she was very small, and that's why she's not afraid of any kind of work or challenge. She tells us that she sells assorted cosmetics, and that it's going very well, since she has a well-established clientele. Her goal is to be able to continue growing, and that way continue helping her family.

She is applying for the loan in order to buy cosmetics, so that she will be able to fill her customers' orders, and at the same time offer them greater variety.

In this group: Teresa Concepcion, Maria, Liz, Norma, Gabriela, Elvira, Felipa, Margarita, Antonia, Maria, Lidia, Agustina, Alicia, Concepcion, Wilfrida, Rafaela, Elva, Marta, Cristina, Ceferina, Sandra
