A loan of $3,475 helped a member to buy summer clothing to sell.

Kuña Aty Joayhu Group's story

The Kuña Aty Joayhu women's communal bank was formed in July 2010 thanks to Nancy, who convinced some friends who were already part of another group to form a new one. Later they got in touch with the advisor to form the bank. Currently they are in the fifth cycle of the program for women entrepreneurs.

Nancy tells us that she works selling a variety of clothing, because she always varies the clothes she sells according to the season. Through the sales she obtains the means to help her family and give them a decent lifestyle without deprivation. Her desire is to be able to continue with her business and in this way be able to continue helping her family. This is why she is requesting the loan to buy summer clothes, because she wants to stock up and have a good variety to offer her customers.

She is grateful to Fundación Paraguaya and to Kiva for the opportunity they are giving her.
