A loan of $3,075 helped a member to buy clothes to sell.

Kuña Katupyry Group's story

The Kuña Katupyry communal bank began when a group of women met jointly to work as a team with a single ideal, which is to stand out day by day with their hard work. It is a group of 16 modest and hardworking women. Currently they are in the tenth loan cycle and they are infinitely grateful for the support, the constant monitoring, the training, and for trusting in them to help them improve their quality of life and that of their families.

One of the members is María, who works selling all types of clothing. She is a very hardworking woman and a fighter. Through her hard work she is able to pay her family's daily expenses and at the same time support her business. Her goal is to grow and continue helping her family.

She is requesting the loan to buy summer clothes so she can fulfill her customers' demands. She is grateful to the foundation and to Kiva for the opportunity they are giving her.
