A loan of $250 helped to buy water storage containers.

Josphine's story

Josphine is a 34-year-old married woman. She has three children with ages ranging from five to thirteen years.

Josphine runs a stall in a busy residential area from which she sells water (previously she was selling sweets). She has been involved in this business for five years and describes herself as customer-friendly. A lack of enough water storage facilities is her biggest business challenge.

Josphine will use a 20,000 KES loan from SMEP to buy more water storage containers. Her goal is to own a lorry within five years to aid in water delivery.
