Mahmoud is a 50-year-old married man and a father of three children. He works hard to improve his family's standard of living and provide them with the best education ever.
Mahmoud is a hardworking man. He has 25 years of experience in selling fruits and vegetables. In 2001, Mahmoud started his own business. Using a small car he owned, he started to sell fruits and vegetables to nearby villages and towns. Later he exchanged the car for a small truck, which helped a lot in expanding his business and increasing the quantity of products he was selling. His income increased at the same time. Mahmoud did all this because he was aware that he has a family that he has to take good care of and provide with a good and healthy lifestyle.
Mahmoud is requesting a loan from Kiva partner Al Majmoua for the first time. He will use the loan to increase his merchandise by buying special seasonal fruits and vegetables. He hopes to expand his business to start wholesale trade in the future.
