Karina Beatriz's story

Karina Beatriz, 30, has been married for nine years and has three daughters who are 1, 4 and 6 years old; she lives in Cofradía, Cortes and her husband is employed at a private firm.

Karina makes piñatas to sell. She learned how to make them when she was a little girl. To date, her business has been in operation for more than three years. She sells piñatas at home and on order according to the design. She spends six hours daily at work.

She is getting her second loan to invest in raw materials like crepe paper, glue and wire. Her goal is to expand the business to earn more income and help to improve her family’s quality of life.
