Thim's story

Mrs. Thim S., 51, is a vendor of natural medicines, selling door to door in her village. She normally earns $3 a day.

To increase the family's livelihood, her husband works as a farmer and earns a profit of less than $1 a day.

They have three children. One works collecting recyclable items and resells them to the plant and earns on average around $2 a day. This couple aims to purchase a motorbike to take the recyclable items to the plant. Now the products are transported by bicycle.
