Matluba's story

Matluba is 45 years old, a widow and has three children. She works as a social worker to bring in additional income for her family. She got involved in animal husbandry and farming 15 years ago. Having practical experience in animal husbandry, Matluba successfully grows her business, which now yields about 15,000 som from sales of dairy and meat products and also from growing cotton. In order to further develop her business, Matluba requested a loan in the sum of 100,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to purchase additional heads of livestock. She plans to invest the profits from the loan into repairing a barn, in order to improve conditions for keeping livestock, and in the future, plans to purchase a car for her family.
