A loan of $650 helped to purchase livestock.

Jiparkul's story

Jiparkul is a 64-year-old widow. She has raised five children and now has six grandchildren. Jiparkul started her own animal husbandry business in 1992 with the purchase of one cow. Thanks to Jiparkul's hard work, her farming business now comprises three dairy cows, four calves and one horse, and brings about 4,200 som (KGS) per month from the sale of dairy and meat products. In order to further develop her business, Jiparkul has turned to Bai Tushum & Partners for a loan in the amount of 30,000 som, which will be used to purchase sheep. Jiparkul plans to invest her revenues to further increase her number of farm animals.
