Zaynab A., 57, lives in the city of Tursun-Zoda. She is a widow with three children. Zaynab has a secondary school education and makes her living in animal husbandry. She raises cows and sells their milk, which gives her an income to support her family. She sells the milk in Dushanbe (Tajikistan's capital) at reasonable prices, supplying the local population with fresh milk. Zaynab would like a loan to buy another cow, which will increase her income. She plans to repay the loan within 10 months.
