Ngoeurn's story

Ngoeurn, 46, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She sells breakfast foods, such as Khmer noodles and porridge, from home. Ngoeurn has had this business for over six years and is successful in her career. Her husband has worked at the river port for over ten years. All of her children are employed; three are garment workers and the fourth child is a truck driver.

To improve her family’s circumstances, Ngoeurn requests a USD 1,000 loan for a new business to purchase groceries to sell from her home. In the future, she would like to build a new house.
