Samon, 42, is married, resides with her husband and two children in Takeo Province, Cambodia.
She has been a staffer in the tourism department for over 10 years. Her husband has been involved in agriculture for over 20 years, has extensive experience and is successful in his career. He is involved in growing rice and fishing.
All of her children are construction workers. In order to improve her family's living conditions, Samon is requesting a loan of USD 1,000 to pay for her children's passport fees. By doing so, she will enable her children to legally seek work in Thailand to generate more income to support the family.
In the future, she would like to build a warehouse for keeping rice and support her children to study foreign languages.
