Chorn is 57 years old, married, and has four children. He resides in Takeo Province, Cambodia. He has been a village leader for over 20 years.
Chorn and his wife have been involved in growing rice for over 20 years and are successful in their business. He has begun a new business of raising fish to sell in order to generate more income to support the family.
Chorn is requesting a loan for $1,000, which will be used to purchase fodder to feed the fish so that they gain weight and can then be sold. In the future, he would like to build a new house and support his youngest child to study until he/she earns a bachelor's degree.
