A loan of $1,000 helped to buy a sewing machine and rolls of fabric.

Marco Antonio's story

Marco is a former client who is returning to the bank after a year. He lives in the Alto Porvenir area.

He has an established stand on one of the busiest streets in the City of La Paz and he sells aprons made from cloth to women who work selling food, to butchers, and to housekeepers, but he also works selling shoes in the city of Potosí, together with his wife, who lives in this city. On the other hand, sewing aprons offer him higher profits because of the cost of travel, so he mainly dedicates his time to buying and selling aprons.

He is asking for a loan to be used to buy a sewing machine and rolls of fabric so he can increase his apron production.
