Teofila's story

Introducing Teofila, a member of “JUNTOS DE LA MANO" (Holding Hands), a Communal Bank located in Iscuchaca, a district of the Anta province in the Cusco department. Teofila is 46 years old, she is a widow and she has 6 children. She engages in buying and selling small animals and in buying and selling grains such as various varieties of maize, dried broad beans, green beans, lima beans, barley and wheat. In this occasion she wants to invest the loan in the purchase of dried goods such as the aforementioned ones in order to supply her stock. She is thankful for the loan and she commits to complying with the repayment of her dues in the agreed time.
