Pilar's story

Pilar lives in Yalaguina, a town in Estelí. She is 51 years old, and has three children who are all financially independent.

She has 20 years experience with her business selling food. She began with some capital that her husband gave her. Beforehand, she worked as an auxiliary nurse, until she began to sell food and focused completely on her business.

She has as her goals to expand her business with more dishes so that she can offer variety, and to purchase inventory such as packaging, flatware, and dishes, and int his way improve her establishment's infrastructure.

She is requesting the loan to purchase raw ingredients such as rice, beans, sugar, oil, and vegetables for making her dishes.

In the future, she would like to buy some land to build a house which she will be able to rent out and generate additional income, as she is a woman who likes progress and to move ahead in life in an honorable way.
