A loan of $750 helped buy more products to stock his store.

Andres's story

Andrés is 52 years old. He is married to Felicitas, 46. They have two children together and live in their own house in the heart of Canayre in the district of Llochegua. Andrés is a principled man.

He tells us that in the beginning when he started this business he didn't earn much, but, little by little, he increased his clientele. Currently, he has a good income thanks to the effort that he put into customer service. This is why he gets up very early to open his store for his customers. Early in the morning they buy what they need to prepare food and then they head to the fields where the vast majority of them work.

In the future he plans to stock his store with clothing to generate more income. Andrés also works as a farmer, growing cocoa and other products that are in high demand.

This will be his third loan with MFP and he is committed to paying off his loan on time. With the 2,000 nuevos soles [Peruvian currency] he will buy more products to sell in his store.
